Privacy Policy

insanehome operates insanehome.com as a CRM workspace for contacts, deals, and follow-ups. We respect your privacy and describe below how we collect, process, and protect the information you entrust to us.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you register, create workspaces, import contacts, or communicate with support. That includes:

We also automatically collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser details, and device identifiers to keep the platform secure and performant.

How We Use Your Information

Your information enables us to:

When you choose to connect data to insanehome, we use that data only to organize work, surface the right context, and complete the actions you request—helping your team move through customer workflows faster. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Google Workspace API Data

If you connect a Google account, Insane Home requests the Gmail gmail.modify scope for the project Mail feature. This is the single Gmail scope used by the feature. It lets the connected user view mailbox content and labels in the workspace, compose and send email, reply, archive, mark messages read or unread, star messages, apply or remove labels, and move messages to or restore them from Trash. We do not request gmail.metadata, gmail.readonly, gmail.send, ormail.google.com. Gmail access is used only for actions initiated by the connected user or an authorized workspace member. Insane Home does not permanently delete Gmail messages or change Gmail account settings. Workspace API data is not used for advertising, sold, or provided to AI services for model training.

The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

For a feature-by-feature explanation of this access, visit our Google API Data Use page.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data or CRM records. We may disclose information to service providers who support our operations (hosting, email, payment processing) and when required by law.

Third-party integrations you enable (such as Twilio for voice) are governed by their own privacy policies.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. Most browsers allow you to control cookies through settings, though disabling them may impact functionality.

Data Retention and Security

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Workspace data is isolated per account.

We maintain administrative and technical safeguards to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. Please protect your account credentials and report suspicious activity promptly.

Your Rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data, as well as object to processing where applicable. Submit requests to sales@insanehome.com.

Children

Our services are intended for business users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Significant updates will be communicated via the website or email.
